No telling what tomorrow holds

It seems like our blog is turning into a we'rereallyreallybusywithschoolandwanttorantaboutithere and here'ssomecoolbandswithawesomesongs blog. And it actually is! It's not like somebody is actually reading it, but this was supposed to be a fashion blog when we started about 1,5 years ago. In the meantime I deleted and edited a lot of post. We actually started over a few times already. But in the end I guess it's nice to have a little place on the web, where you can put your thoughts and save it. In the most literal way possible.

To get back to my usual here'ssomecoolbandswithawesomesongs update: A couple of days ago I 'discovered' Silverstein (who are btw doing a tour with Billy Talent trough Europe. Apparently with Europe they mean 8 dates in Germany, 3 in Austria and a couple of other dates in East Europe. Wtf?!) and Bayside. Pretty good :)
And I don't know if I mentioned it before (I probably did), but Four Year Strong is really really good. I'm glad they're replacing The Fall of Troy during The Eastpak Antidote tour 2009.

Oh, apparently you can watch Rise Againsts video for their single Savior. But as usual it doesn't work when I click on it. I get a "Sorry, this video is currently unavailable. We're doing our best to get it back." Damn you mtv! On the other hand who knew there would actually be a search result if you type Anti-Flag? Weird.

And yet again, i have to make an essay, two (what?!) analyses and answer questions. And on top of that, i have a presentation too. And i still haven't done anything. Why am i always blogging instead of making all these assignments? Went to the zoo on sunday... so we supposed to meet at central station, and i was there, right on time. Then they called.. and like me they were also waiting but on a different spot. Right, really great. But the zoo was fun, lost eva and pieter quite a few times and ended up on forbidden area along with Bradley. oops. I still haven't got my iPod.. but i hope i can make some time tomorrow to get it.. but now i'm really going to begin with my structureanalyse.. after i made some coffee.

oh and i don't know what to think about the new video of lostprophets.. still think they're awesome though.

It's not the end of the world

Finally! There's just one thing that need to be said: What is up with the hair, Ian? Hahahaha. I don't think I like the song (yet)... It's definitely different, I'm just not sure if it's different in a good/bad way.

Anyways, other than browsing the world wide web for useless stuff/crap I have to analyse some floors and draw them for school. It's nearly impossible to me, because I don't get it at all -_- It's not like I didn't payed any attention during the lectures, cause I did. I enjoyed it, it was really interesting. (In a non-sarcastic way.) Four more days to figure it out. I have a presentation on Friday. Awesome. (Yes, sarcastic.) Speaking of Fridays, last Friday was my first day at my new job. I love it. I have to work on Wednesdays, Friday nights and Saturdays from now on. And all this next to my school work. Busy, busy, busy.

Note to self: Must get new glasses, can't see shit. And oh yeah, bring multiple coloured pens to lectures, can't seem to understand what I wrote.

I had a job interview today... and I got it! Jeeej. I'm going to work in a arty, farty shop. Selling foamboards, paper, brushes etc. Something that really fits me, I reckon. They weren't too enthusiastic, actually. Due to my (school) timetable, that changes every 9 weeks, but they were willing to give me a try. (Thanks to the guy in the pink shirt :)) I'm superexcited.

Btw, I downloaded the new iTunes. It's so... bright?

You see the video Chris has posted.. well.. i'm quite addicted to it. And like a lunatic, I can listen to it again and again and again for the next few weeks.. Today I went to a lecture, went home, made an essay (700 words! :O), analyzed a text and still have to read 2 more texts and answer 8 questions. I also froze to death because it was sooo cold! I just wore a shirt and a cardigan.. i thought it was going to be sunny.. ._. And i've finally decided which iPod i want.. and it's going to be the touch! Still have to get it though, but i'm probably going to the city with Chris soon. This sunday i'm also going to the zoo haha :) And when Chris and I finally move out of here and have our own cottage.. I'm going to create

I'm tired, down, dirty in this borrowed sheets. It's been a week

Thank god it's Saturday. It's been a busy, busy week. Went out to the city with the parents today. Bought some school necessities. Nothing interesting, really. I'm going to enjoy my free day and start working on school tomorrow... or the day after that :]

I will never be a diamond child

A few days (or was it weeks?) ago I decided to create a PayPal account to launch myself in the 21th century. This ring is my first purchase on eBay. Owls + green = great addition to my ever expanding ring collection :)

This was my small update, because I have to go back to reality. Have to prepare a presentation about building structures, floors, materials etc. I have to draw it all by hand, because my laptop (on which I am working on right now) is not functioning properly. (Read: Über-, über, überslow) And I don't know how to draw it on the laptop anyways. So much for my "welcome to the 21th century" party.

By now, I should be done with my essay. Instead, I haven't even typed one single word and I have a feeling it's not going to happen either. So yeah, my "student life" has really begun and it isn't so bad.. except for those assignments and stuff. I ♥ the back drop(s), Tim's voice, the fact that they perform 'old songs' like Blood-Red White And Blue, Savior, Paper Wings, Survive, Prayer Of The Refugee (uhm...all their songs), the acoustic set, backing vocals of Ready To Fall, that they sound awesome live, the bottle of water the crowd has to share, the thought behind the songs, everything they stand for, them being vegetarian/vegan, caring about the planet, Tim's shirt in which he can take a shower. Tickets for Reading and Leeds 2010 are up for sale as we speak. Downside: they cost approximately £400,-. Mind you, I haven't even mentioned transport, lockers, sleeping bags, tent, food, Hunter wellies. Yes, these belong to the category 'essentials'.

I'm pretty sure the line up will be amazing, just like it has been for the last couple of years.

Save me, I'm lost

Today I've been to a lecture and it was quite interesting.. and a bit boring -.- luckily it was not that long. My last days of vacation were pretty nice, went bowling/to the movies/played wii/ate a lot of ice cream in Leiden/Lisse/Sassenheim (like.. wtf?) along with Eva, Pieter and Bradley yet again :) we also drove all the way to Hillegom at midnight for even more ice cream but unfortunately it was closed already -.-
